Job summary

Stonebroom Primary & Nursery School is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our site team. Working 15:15 to 18:15, 15 hours per week, during term time plus INSET days, you will help maintain a clean and safe environment for pupils and staff.

Under the direction of the Senior Cleaner, you will sweep, mop, damp wipe and replenish facilities, follow COSHH rules, and report repairs promptly. Start date ASAP with interview likely Friday 25th September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles preferred.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum and mop floors across the site.
• Damp wipe and sanitise surfaces, furniture and equipment.
• Clean and replenish toilet and washroom facilities.
• Empty litter bins and dispose of waste safely.
• Follow COSHH regulations and health and safety policies.
• Report maintenance or safeguarding concerns to supervisors.
