Job summary

Education Authority (Northern Ireland) is seeking a Cleaning Assistant to join the cleaning team and undertake duties in designated areas within Education Authority premises as directed by the line manager.

You will work as part of a team to clean floors, toilets and other surfaces using the appropriate equipment, follow established cleaning methods, maintain hygiene standards and report any faults, with mandatory Health and Safety training and COSHH awareness.

Qualifications

• The requirements of a School Cleaner.
• Cleaning methods / machinery.
• Health and Safety requirements relevant to the role, including COSHH.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cleaning of any area within the premises designated by the line manager.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and use appropriate equipment to maintain hygiene.
• Attend required training and comply with Health and Safety regulations.
