Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a reliable School Cleaner in Yeovil to maintain a clean and safe school environment for students, staff and visitors. The role involves working with the Facilities Manager to ensure high cleaning standards are met.

The candidate should have an Enhanced DBS, be able to lift/move heavy objects occasionally, and demonstrate good communication skills. Experience in cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS confirmation required.
• Previous cleaning/janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, hallways and other areas as assigned.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms and other areas.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to Facilities Manager.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
