Job summary

Kindred is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to help maintain the cleanliness of an educational site in Waltham, Lincolnshire. You will clean classrooms, toilets, and common areas, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for staff, students and visitors.

The role requires an enhanced DBS check and offers £12.71 per hour with a 15:30–19:30 Monday–Friday schedule. We expect reliable, independent workers who take pride in high cleaning standards and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.
• Ability to follow instructions (including written) and work safely for periods of time on their own.
• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.
• Emptying bins and waste disposal.
• Replenishing soaps, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
• Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks and using appropriate cleaning materials.
• Following health and safety regulations including COSHH.
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly.
