Job summary

Catch22 in Pontefract is seeking a reliable School Cleaner for a temporary 8-12 week assignment with an immediate start. An in-date Enhanced DBS is required, and satisfactory references must be in place.

You will clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas, dispose of waste, replenish supplies, and uphold high hygiene and safety standards. The role is on-site at a school, with duties performed diligently and safely.

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a friendly educational setting in Pontefract on a temporary basis for approximately 8-12 weeks. To be considered for this role you must have an in date Enhanced DBS, be available for an immediate start as well as have satisfactory references in place.

Pontefract

£12.71 per hour

8-12 Week Temporary Assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Replenishing cleaning supplies where required
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained throughout the school
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Checkable work references covering recent employment history
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
