Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking immediately available School Cleaners to support Dudley Borough Schools on a part-time/ad-hoc basis. The role offers £12.71 per hour with early morning and late afternoon shifts.

You will clean classrooms, corridors and toilets, following school procedures and health and safety rules. An Enhanced DBS and references are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS is essential.
• Previous Cleaner experience is required.
• Complete 5-year work history is required.
• 2 UK employment references are required.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good attention to detail.
• School or education-sector Cleaner experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms and corridors - vaccuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting to keep teaching areas clean, tidy, and presentable.
• Clean toilets and communal areas (i.e., Toilets, sinks, floors, and shared areas)
• Follow schools cleaning procedures and ensure all areas are cleaned safely, efficiently, and consistently.
• Follow health & safety procedures
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Ensure the school remains clean, welcoming, and suitable for pupils, staff, and visitors
