Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited seeks a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at Passmores Academy in Harlow. You will join our Total FM Cleaning Team at the school and perform general cleaning duties across facilities.

The role is part-time, 10 hours per week, with shifts 6AM-8AM or 3:30PM-5:30PM, Monday to Friday, including term time and school holidays. Candidates should have reliability and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge, experience and attention to detail in cleaning services and equipment, including COSHH and Health and Safety.
• Good timekeeping and attendance.
• Ability to work to laid-down schedules.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
• DBS check and references may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning toilet facilities, hand basins and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap and towels.
• Damp-wipe tables, chairs, desks, skirting boards, windowsills and hard surfaces.
• Vacuum all soft floors and carpets, including barrier matting.
• Damp & spot mopping, dusting, polishing of surfaces, fixtures and fittings, sanitising touch points, door handles, push plates.
• Adhere to colour coding directives and regularly change mop heads, cloths, and other equipment.

Pinnacle Group is looking for a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at one of our contracted Secondary schools. You will be joining our Total FM Cleaning Team at Passmores Academy in Harlow

Our Total Facilities Management team delivers integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health and residential sectors.We focus on keeping facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently – helping our clients create spaces that work for everyone.

Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to the required standard as directed by the Facilities Assistant and/or Superintendent.

This is a part time permanent position working 2 hours a day, Monday to Friday, 6AM - 8AM or 3:30PM - 5:30PM for a total of 10 hours per week. This role with involve working during term time as well as the school holidays.

• Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
• Confirmation of appointment will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) plus references
