Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited is seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness at Craylands Primary School in Swanscombe. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with term-time hours 3 PM–7 PM and holidays 9 AM–1 PM. You will join our Total FM Cleaning Team to keep internal school facilities clean and safe. DBS check and references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning services with attention to detail.
• COSHH and Health and Safety knowledge.
• Good timekeeping and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Clean toilet facilities, hand basins and replenish toilet paper, hand soap and towels.
• Damp-wipe tables, chairs, desks, skirting boards, windowsills and hard surfaces.
• Vacuum all soft floors and carpets, including barrier matting.
• Damp & spot mopping, dusting, polishing surfaces, sanitising touch points, door handles and push plates.
• Adhere to colour coding directives and regularly change mop heads and equipment.

Pinnacle Group is looking for a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at one of our contracted primary schools. You will be joining our Total FM Cleaning Team at Craylands Primary School in Swanscombe.

Our Total Facilities Management team delivers integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health and residential sectors. We focus on keeping facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently - helping our clients create spaces that work for everyone.

Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to the required standard as directed by the Facilities Assistant and/or Superintendent. This is a part time permanent position working 20 hours a week Monday-Friday. Term time 3PM-7PM and school holidays 9AM-1PM.

• To ensure you are adhering to the colour coding directives and are regularly changing mop heads, cloths, and other equipment.

Key requirements will include:

• Good knowledge, experience, and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment, including COSHH and Health and Safety
• Good timekeeping and attendance are important
• Ability to work to laid-down schedules.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
• Confirmation of appointment will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) plus references
