Crookhey Hall School is seeking a reliable School Cleaner to join our friendly and supportive team. With 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time, this permanent role offers regular, predictable hours that fit around your life outside of work.

You will keep classrooms, offices and shared spaces clean and hygienic, follow COSHH safety, monitor supplies, and report maintenance and health-and-safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience welcomed, training can be provided.
• Holds a Full UK Driving Licence.
• All applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Keep classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas clean, hygienic and welcoming.
• Carry out routine cleaning plus occasional deep-cleaning and additional tasks when needed.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely per COSHH.

Whether you're preparing classrooms for the next school day or keeping shared spaces fresh and hygienic, you'll see the impact of your work every day.

What You'll Be Doing

• Keep classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas clean, hygienic and welcoming.
• Carry out routine cleaning alongside occasional deep-cleaning and additional tasks when required.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely in line with COSHH requirements.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and let the team know when stock needs replenishing.
• Identify and report any maintenance or health and safety concerns.
• Work alongside the Site Manager and wider team to maintain high standards across the school.
• Help create a safe and positive environment for our pupils, colleagues and visitors.

Previous cleaning experience is welcomed, particularly within a school, healthcare or similar environment, but full training can be provided.

Crookhey Hall School is a Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) School which caters for boys and girls aged 10 - 17 years of age.
