School Cleaner - SEN School, Chorley
Part-Time | 16 Hours per Week | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Cleaner to work in a specialist SEN school based in Chorley. This is a part-time, term-time role with some holiday hours for deep cleaning. The position starts on a 12-week temporary basis through Teaching Personnel, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent contract.
Hours: 16 hours per week
Start Time: Ideally 5:00am starts, but afternoon shifts may be considered for suitable candidates
Location: Chorley
Contract: Temporary with potential for permanency
Working Pattern: Term-time with additional holiday hours for deep cleans
Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard
Ensuring a safe, hygienic environment for pupils and staff
Following the school's cleaning schedule and health & safety policies
Supporting the wider site team as required
Previous cleaning experience preferred (school or care setting), but not essential
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Comfortable working around children and young people with additional needs
Hold or be willing to obtain a Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (support available from Teaching Personnel)
