Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Cleaner to work in a specialist SEN school based in Chorley. This is a part-time, term-time role with some holiday hours required for deep cleans. The position will start on a 12-week temporary basis through Teaching Personnel, with the opportunity to move onto a permanent school contract thereafter.

Hours: 16 hours per week

Start Time: Ideally 5:00am starts, but afternoon shifts may be considered for the right candidate

Location: Chorley

Contract: Temporary to permanent

Working Pattern: Term-time with additional hours for deep cleans during school holidays

Role Responsibilities:

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard

Ensuring a safe, hygienic environment for pupils and staff

Following the school's cleaning schedule and health & safety policies

Supporting the wider site team as required

Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous cleaning experience (school or care setting preferred but not essential)

Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Be comfortable working around children and young people with additional needs

Hold or be willing to obtain a Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (Teaching Personnel can support with this)
