Job summary

Chartwells is seeking a capable unit supervisor to organize and oversee operations in Line with contract standards. You will manage food preparation, cooking, and service while ensuring resources and staff are used efficiently to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years catering experience.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent financial acumen.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with the contract specification and required regulations.
• To be responsible for the preparation, cooking and service of food to agreed standards and specification.
• To ensure efficient and economical use of resources, including stock, team members and assets.

What you'll be doing:

To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with and to the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification and statutory Regulations. To be responsible for the overall efficient and effective management of the unit under their control providing a quality service. Responsible for the preparation, cooking and service of food to agreed standards and specification. To ensure the efficient and economic use is made of all resources, including stock, team members and company assets.
