Job summary

Aspens Services in Daventry is seeking a motivated Chef for school sites to craft healthy, nutritious menus for students and staff. You will lead a kitchen team and deliver high-quality hospitality.

You should have Catering experience, a focus on fresh ingredients, and strong Health & Safety knowledge with Food Hygiene levels 2 & 3. This role supports a balanced work‑life pattern aligned to term time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a catering environment, focusing on fresh ingredients.
• Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety practices and certification in Food Hygiene level 2 & 3.

Responsibilities

• Menu Excellence: Expert preparation of menus using fresh ingredients.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Safety Champion: Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene, Allergen, and Health & Safety regulations.
• Excellent Hospitality: Manage high-quality hospitality requests for schools and events.
• Building Community: Develop strong relationships with school clients and students.
