Job summary

Vertas is seeking a School Chef to join our Catering Team at Elizabethan High Comprehensive. The role is based in Retford and runs 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–2:30pm, across 39.2 weeks per year.

You will prepare and serve high quality school meals and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain service standards, follow food safety and health & safety guidelines, assist with stock control, and help minimise waste while

About the Role:

Based at Elizabethan High Comprehensive, DN22 7PY, you will be working 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 2:30pm, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in preparing and serving high quality school meals while supporting the smooth day to day operation of the kitchen.
