Job summary

Holroyd Howe at Winterfold House School is seeking a Catering Team Member to support daily food service and delivery. You will assist with meal preparation, service, and maintaining high hygiene standards in a busy school environment.

The role is term-time only, part-time with typical hours 11:00-14:00, Monday to Friday. You will help manage allergen controls, provide friendly customer service, and support events while working with a dedicated catering team.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract or high-volume catering is preferred.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge is desirable.
• Flexible, customer-focused and enthusiastic.
• Well-organised with attention to detail.
• Team player who enjoys collective success.
• Flexible approach to work is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, service and presentation of food to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas.
• Assist with food labelling, temperature checks and allergen controls.
• Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff and visitors.
• Set up and clear service areas for smooth daily operations.
• Follow all food safety, health and safeguarding procedures.
• Support hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions.
• Champion allergen controls at all times.
