Job summary

Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council is recruiting for a part-time, term-time catering supervisor to manage food production, menu planning and service for pupils and staff. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with Cardiff Catering policies and relevant legislation, and promote the service within the school community.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, budgeting skills, and solid knowledge of food hygiene. DBS check is required for appointment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and motivational skills including the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff

Responsibilities

• To manage the food production including, menu planning, food ordering, food presentation and service. The day to day organisation and supervision of food service and promotion of the service to pupils and school personnel.
• To ensure policies, protocols and procedures determined by Cardiff Catering, Cardiff Council and legislation are adhered to.
• Supervision of other employees, including allocation of duties, work rotas and training.
