Job summary

Aspens Services is seeking a Chef Manager to take full operational and financial responsibility for a school catering facility in Anston. You will lead the kitchen team, oversee menu development, and drive sales through monthly promotions and value events.

The role requires strong GP management skills, on-the-job experience, and a commitment to high quality food, safety, and staff development. DBS disclosure may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GP management and ability to smash sales targets.
• Experience in line management with coaching and development.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Financial control: manage and improve controllable costs including stock, food and labour.
• Team leadership: lead, coach, train and inspire kitchen team.
• Culinary innovation: oversee menu development and drive sales through promotions.
• Quality assurance: ensure standards and legislation are met through audits and proactive management.
