Job summary

Stir is seeking a Catering Assistant with Driving to join our school catering team. You’ll deliver excellent customer service, help with meal prep, and serve at the tills, with full training provided.

This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule during term time, 20 hours per week, with no weekend shifts, and a strong emphasis on health and safety, DBS disclosure, and long‑term development within our growing company.

Qualifications

• Friendly, versatile personality with energy for a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
• Catering/food service experience is a bonus.
• Basic understanding of Health and Safety practices.
• A full UK driving licence required due to travel between schools.

Responsibilities

• Service Excellence: create a fantastic dining experience for students and staff.
• Customer Champion: serve food and operate the tills with full training provided.
• Culinary Support: assist chefs with meal preparation.
