Job summary

Stir is seeking a Catering Assistant with Driving to work across schools in the UK. You will front-line serve customers, assist with meals, and support kitchen operations. A full UK driving licence is required for possible travel between sites.

Offer includes Monday–Friday shifts with 22.5 hours per week during 38 weeks of the school calendar, with training provided for Health & Safety and Food Hygiene. DBS disclosure is mandatory for this role.

As a Catering Assistant with Driving, your core task is to be the face of our service, delivering excellent customer service with a smile, while getting hands‑on with the preparation of delicious, nutritious, and high‑quality meals made with fresh, sustainable ingredients.

Role Responsibility

Service Excellence: Work as a dynamic part of the team to create a fantastic dining experience for all our students and staff—you’re key to lunchtime happiness!

Customer Champion: Serve food and operate thetills(don't worry, we provide full training!).

Culinary Support:Jump in and assist the chefs with meal preparation, playing a vital role in bringing our delicious menus to life.

Keep it Sparkling: Ensure a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times.

• Safety First:Adhering to all guidelines, including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies.

Previous catering or food service experience is a bonus!

A basic understanding of Health and Safety practices.

Food Hygiene Level 2 is great, but not essential—we believe in training, so we’ll provide it for the right enthusiastic candidate!

A full UK driving licence is required, as there may be travel between schools.
