Norse Catering at St Johns Community Primary School in Hoveton, Norfolk, is hiring a Catering Assistant for a temporary, part-time role (20 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am–1:30pm).

The position pays £12.71 per hour (equivalent to about £25,777.12 pro-rata) and includes fully funded accredited courses, great career progression, and a chance to contribute to a healthy school meal program. DBS check required; term-time only.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience preferred.
• Extensive induction and training provided.
• Enhanced DBS check required for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and serving of lunches for pupils and staff.
• Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness in service areas.
• Set up service areas and tidy away after service.
