Job summary

Norse Catering is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team at Ingoldisthorpe Primary on a temporary, part-time basis. Hours are 11am–2pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a pro-rata salary of £25,777.12 per year based on 15 hours per week at £12.71 per hour.

You will assist with lunch preparation and service for pupils and staff, keep areas hygienic, and travel to Dersingham Primary to prepare meals before delivering to Ingoldisthorpe. DBS check is required and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience is desirable.
• Extensive induction and training programmes are available.
• Enhanced DBS check required; payment met by employer.

Responsibilities

• Support with the preparation and serving of lunches for pupils and staff.
• Maintain hygiene standards and set up/clear service areas.
