You will help prepare, present, and serve meals, set up dining areas, and ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene in a school setting. A DBS check is required, and the role follows a term-time contract with annualised pay, paid monthly.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, food service or customer-facing roles is desirable.
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, presentation, and serving of meals.
• Set up and clear dining areas as required.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
• Follow allergen, dietary, and special meal requirements.
• Receive, store, and handle food deliveries correctly.
• Operate tills where required.
• Report health and safety concerns, accidents, or equipment faults.
• Provide friendly and professional service to students, staff and visitors.
• Work collaboratively with the catering team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
