Job summary

HCL is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant for Puller Memorial Primary School. You will assist with meal preparation, serve pupils, maintain hygiene, and help with deliveries between sites using the HCL van. This post includes safeguarding responsibilities and a focus on delivering great customer service.

Term-time only with 16.25 hours per week, the role pays £12.71 per hour and offers uniform, DBS disclosure paid by HCL, and a referral bonus. A valid UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safeguarding children.
• Food hygiene level 2 certification preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking and serve meals to children.
• Uphold Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
• Receive, check and organise supplier deliveries.
• Transport meals between sites using the HCL van.
