HCL Catering is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the team at Hackbridge Corner Primary School. You will assist with food preparation, serve meals to children, and maintain high hygiene and safety standards in a school kitchen.

The role is term-time only, 20 hours per week, with no weekends or late shifts. Benefits include uniform provided, DBS disclosure paid by HCL, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Safeguarding awareness and a team-oriented approach are essential.
• Strong customer service and punctuality are expected.
• Basic health and safety knowledge is required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with food preparation, cooking and serving meals to children.
• Uphold Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
• Receive, check, and organise supplier deliveries.
• Carry out washing-up and keep kitchen and dining area clean.
• Represent HCL and reflect our values in all duties.
