Job summary

HCL is seeking a Catering Assistant to support meals at St John's CofE Primary School. The role focuses on food preparation, serving children, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards during term-time hours. The position offers 15 hours per week, term-time only, with weekend/late shifts avoided, and uniform provided.

The hourly rate is £12.71, with DBS disclosure paid by HCL. HCL provides ongoing training, safeguarding commitment, and opportunities for growth within the team.

• Assist with food preparation, cooking and serve meals to children

• Receiving, checking, and organising supplier deliveries
• Carry out washing-up duties, maintain a clean hygienic kitchen and dining area
