Job summary

HCL is seeking a Catering Assistant based at St Ippolyts Church of England Aided Primary School. You will help prepare and serve meals for children, maintain hygiene standards and follow safety procedures, while representing HCL in a positive light.

You will work 7.5 hours per week during term time only, with uniform provided and a commitment to safeguarding. The role offers clear progression opportunities within HCL and additional wellbeing perks.

Qualifications

• Food hygiene level 2 preferred
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures
• Knowledge of key allergens preferred
• Committed to safeguarding children and young people

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking and serve meals to children
• Uphold Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
• Receive, check and organise supplier deliveries
• Carry out washing-up duties and keep kitchen and dining area clean
• Represent HCL and reflect company values
