Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our school catering team in Welton. You will support the kitchen with basic food preparation and help deliver friendly, efficient service to students and staff during the lunch rush.

You'll work 20 hours per week across 38 school weeks each year, with no late nights or weekends. An interest in food service and health and safety is helpful, and training will be provided, including DBS disclosure support.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred but training provided.
• Available to work during school term time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic food preparation as part of the kitchen team.
• Take part in customer interaction on tills during service.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to students and staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen and health & safety standards.
