Aspens Services is hiring a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen operations in Horsham. You will handle till service, deliver friendly customer care to students and staff, and assist with basic food preparation in a busy lunchtime environment.

The role offers 20 hours per week during term time (38 weeks per year) with training provided and a focus on health and safety compliance. DBS disclosure is required. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Team player and able to work as part of a busy team.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: working on tills during service with training provided.
• Front-line service: providing friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Assisting the team with basic food preparation.

Education

Food Hygiene Level 2 (preferred)
