Carmarthenshire County Council is hiring a Catering Assistant at Dyffryn Aman Secondary School in Ammanford. You will assist the Cook with meal preparation, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety in a busy school catering environment.

The role is 10 hours per week during term time (38 weeks) with an annualised pay scheme. The salary is £26,639 per year, with a pro-rata option for part-time work and a fixed hourly rate of £13.81.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic food safety; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook in preparing nutritious and appetising meals while ensuring compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
