Job summary

Park Hall Academy is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant to join our catering team. The role covers meal preparation, serving, and maintaining dining areas from 12:45pm to 2:45pm, Monday to Friday, supporting pupils and staff with a friendly, professional service.

The post involves some cooking, till operation, and ensuring high standards of customer service within a school environment. A commitment to safeguarding and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Part-time role; Monday to Friday, 12:45–2:45.
• Interest in food and enthusiasm.
• Ability to assist in the preparation and serving of meals.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and some cooking of food.
• Preparing the dining area for service, placing out and putting away of dining room tables, chairs and utensils as required.
• Preparing the counter for service.
• Transporting food between service points, serving meals.
• Operating the till systems.
• Excellent customer service skills.
