Job summary

Aspens Services is seeking a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen and ensure smooth lunchtime service. You will handle basic food preparation and provide excellent customer service to students and staff.

You will work Monday to Friday during school term time, with training provided for health and safety and food handling. This role offers a friendly team environment and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• You are a team player and thrive in a busy team.
• Previous catering or fast-paced service experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is desirable; training can be provided for further qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Customer interaction: working on tills during service with full training provided.
• Front-line service: delivering friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Essential support: assisting with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining standards: keeping a safe, clean kitchen and meeting Health and Safety compliance.
