Bloxham School is seeking a part-time General Assistant to join our welcoming Catering Department. The role covers helping to prepare and serve meals, maintain kitchen and dining room cleanliness, and support food hygiene and safety standards for students, staff and guests. The 30-hour week includes four late shifts, with Saturdays required.

Qualifications

• GCSE level education or equivalent.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Self-motivated and able to use your own initiative.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Setting up service counters and serving food to students and staff.
• Keeping the dining hall and kitchen areas clean and tidy, including sanitising surfaces and washing dishes.
• Assisting with pot wash, lifting and moving supplies, and supporting food prep where needed.
• Responding to queries in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Supporting events, such as sports teas and school functions.
• Following all food hygiene and health & safety requirements.
• Working collaboratively as part of a team.
