Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join a friendly team at a school in Blyth. This role suits someone with catering experience who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in high service standards.

Responsibilities include food prep, serving, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the kitchen during busy periods. A Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate and Enhanced DBS are required or can be supported by Blue Arrow.

Qualifications

• Previous catering/kitchen experience essential.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate required.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
• Setting up dining areas ready for service.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
• Washing up and operating kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Assisting with stock rotation and storage of deliveries.
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Following all food safety and health & safety procedures.
