Location: York and surrounding areas. Pay rate: from £12.71 per hour with weekly pay every Friday. Flexible shifts, ongoing assignments, and dedicated consultant support are available; training in basic hygiene is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge (training can be provided).
• Previous catering, kitchen, or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with stock rotation, storage, and basic food preparation
• Provide excellent customer service to staff
• Follow food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
