Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a Casual General Assistant at our Dollar Academy site in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. The role is full-time equivalent but term-time, with 30 hours per week across 39 weeks and occasional ad hoc hospitality duties.

You will support serving, preparation, hygiene and safety, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced catering environment, with benefits including free meals on duty and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced catering environment.
• Good hygiene and safety practices.
• Food hygiene certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks and cleaning.
• Prepare service areas for each meal service and ensure readiness.
• Serve, set up, store away food and equipment for functions.
• Follow hygiene standards and allergen controls during service.
• Restock supplies and assist during functions or events.
