Qualifications

• Ability to carry out minor repairs and general maintenance.
• Good awareness of safety and security procedures.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the site in line with school procedures.
• Checking the condition of buildings, gates and external access points.
• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintaining outdoor spaces, paths and playground areas.
• Reporting hazards, damage and faults.
• Supporting routine health and safety checks.
• Assisting with the movement and storage of equipment.
• Preparing rooms for meetings, activities and events.
• Monitoring the condition of furniture and fixtures.
• Maintaining organised storage and maintenance areas.
• Supporting waste management and general site tidiness.
• Receiving deliveries and assisting contractors as required.
• Ensuring tools and materials are stored safely.
• Responding to site-related requests from staff.
• Following safeguarding, security and health and safety procedures.
