Qualifications

• Previous experience in caretaking, site management, security, or building maintenance is desirable.
• An understanding of premises safety and basic maintenance procedures.
• A dependable and vigilant approach to site security.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school premises in line with agreed procedures.
• Carrying out routine site inspections and reporting potential hazards.
• Monitoring alarms, access arrangements, and general site security.
• Completing minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensuring school buildings and communal areas remain clean and presentable.
• Assisting with preparations for meetings, school activities, and events.
• Coordinating with contractors and reporting maintenance requirements.
• Supporting compliance with relevant health and safety procedures.
