Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a School Caretaker to deliver high service standards while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules. The role focuses on maintaining safe school premises, assisting with access, and supporting after-hours building use.

The successful candidate will undergo DBS checks and training, with opportunities for career development and participation in company wellness and benefits programs.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
• Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.
• Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
• Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
• Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.
