Responsibilities

• Basic preparation of food and beverages and simple cooking.
• Organising and controlling food service points.
• Transferring and serving meals and snacks, including transported meals.
• Assisting with promotion of meals to pupils, parents and staff.
• Maintain contact with the central kitchen regarding service delivery.
• Prepare dining area and set tables, cutlery, and serving points.
• Clean kitchen/servery, dining room and equipment; wash up and clear away.
• Record temperatures for control purposes and secure premises.
• Carry out duties as delegated and comply with legal requirements.
