Horsell CofE Aided Junior School is seeking a business manager to lead financial and administrative functions while working within the Senior Leadership Team. Horsell C of E Junior School is a three-form entry school in the heart of Horsell village, Woking. Rated ‘good’ in its last Ofsted inspection, the school is ambitious for its children and proud of its role in the local community. The Governors of Horsell C of E Junior School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and experienced professional to provide effective financial, personnel, administrative and facilities management. A member of our Senior Leadership team, you will be key in driving our school’s vision forward.
The role involves working closely with the Governing Body as part of the Senior Leadership Team. You will be encouraged to think strategically about improving income streams and ensuring that the school achieves best value for money, so that we are able to provide the best possible education for all of our children.
Horsell C of E Junior School is in the process of joining the Learning Partners Church Academy Trust. The successful applicant will join a wider team of business professionals, working collaboratively to ensure the effective management of the trust’s estate and finances.
This appointment will be for 36 hours a week, 40 weeks a year. (39 term time + 1 week).

The successful candidate will need the following:
•Strong organisational and ICT skills
• Excellent numerical skills and a strong financial background
• Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workload
• Superb interpersonal skills and an ability to lead and motivate a team of staff
• Knowledge of Arbor finance or Access software an advantage (although training will be provided)
