The Education Network is seeking an experienced School Business Manager to establish systems, processes and policies ahead of a new school opening in Coventry. You will oversee finance, operations and HR to support high-quality education and long-term success.

The role requires strategic planning, robust budget management and strong oversight of premises and procurement. You will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to ensure sound financial management and effective governance,

Qualificações

• Experience leading finance, operations, administration, or business functions within a school or similar setting.
• Strong strategic planning and change management capabilities.
• Excellent communication with staff, governors, external partners, and stakeholders.
• Enhanced DBS certificate holder or willingness to obtain one.
• Operational management experience across budget, compliance, HR, premises, procurement or related services.
• Ability to align business functions with whole-school priorities and support high-quality education.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the school’s business function, taking responsibility for strategic planning and financial management.
• Oversee operations, administration, compliance and resource planning.
• Work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to ensure systems, staffing and premises support long-term school success.
• Set up and implement policies, processes and governance prior to school opening.
• Manage relationships with staff, governors and external partners.
