Job summary

Breakfast Supervisor - Burry Port School is a permanent term-time role with Carmarthenshire County Council. The post involves supervising pupils on arrival and during service, assisting with refreshments and dining duties, and maintaining a clean dining area.

The position is 3.75 hours per week (45 minutes daily) with an annualised pay scheme; term-time pay is 38 weeks and pro-rata pay applies for part-time. Welsh level 2 is required and an enhanced DBS check will be requested.

Qualifications

• The ability to build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect.
• Experience of supervising children (advantageous but not essential).
• Knowledge of basic food safety (advantageous but training will be provided).
• Good communication and people skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils on arrival and during service.
• Assist with serving refreshments and dining duties.
• Clear and wipe down tables as needed.
