Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a Breakfast Supervisor in Ammanford to supervise pupils on arrival and during service. The role involves assisting with refreshments and general dining room duties, including clearing and wiping tables.

Work is 3 hours 45 minutes per week, 45 minutes per day, during term time (38 weeks) before 9am. The salary is £26,639 with an annualised pay scheme for 52 weeks. DBS enhanced disclosure will be required.

Qualifications

• The ability to build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect.
• Experience of supervising children. This would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Knowledge of basic food safety. This would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
• Good communication and people skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• You may also be required to assist with the serving of refreshments and undertake general dining room duties to include clearing and wiping down of tables.
