Job summary

Breakfast Supervisor – Burry Port School is looking for a reliable and dedicated supervisor to oversee pupils on arrival and during service, with duties including serving refreshments and dining room tasks such as clearing and wiping tables.

The post runs for 3.75 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks) with an annualised pay scheme; hourly rate £13.81 and pro‑rata arrangements if part time. Right to work checks apply and an enhanced DBS is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising children is advantageous but not essential.
• Basic food safety knowledge would be an advantage.
• Good communication and people skills, and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils on arrival and during service.
• Assist with serving refreshments and dining room duties.
• Clear and wipe tables and maintain a clean dining area.
