Job summary

Eresby Special School is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to deliver bespoke interventions for pupils aged 2–19 with SEND. The post is 30 hours per week across 39 term-time weeks, permanent, based at Spilsby/Lincolnshire.

You will work with physiotherapists, teachers and families to support therapy plans and promote independence. Training in Paediatric First Aid or willingness to obtain it is required, and experience with children with additional needs is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and young people with additional needs and/or disabilities.
• Experience of maintaining accurate and confidential records.
• Experience of adapting activities to meet a range of individual needs.
• Experience of delivering physiotherapy under the guidance of a physiotherapist.
• Paediatric First Aid or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualised physiotherapy interventions according to physiotherapy plans.
• Support therapy programmes and promote physical development and independence.
• Work closely with physiotherapists, class teachers, families and other professionals.
