Job summary

Eresby Special School is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to deliver bespoke interventions for pupils aged 2–19 with SEND. The post is 30 hours per week across 39 term-time weeks, permanent, based at Spilsby/Lincolnshire.

You will work with physiotherapists, teachers and families to support therapy plans and promote independence. Training in Paediatric First Aid or willingness to obtain it is required, and experience with children with additional needs is essential.

• Experience of adapting activities to meet a range of individual needs.

Eresby Special School is a specialist Academy, for pupils aged 2 to 19 years with a diverse range of highly complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are situated in Spilsby in Lincolnshire and are fortunate to access to a wide range of services and providers in our local community, with whom we are proud to work alongside.

The physiotherapy assistant is responsible for delivering individualised physiotherapy interventions according to physiotherapy plans.

The post holder will deliver bespoke physiotherapy interventions based on the individual needs of the student. They will support therapy programmes, as well as promoting the physical development and independence of our students.

Alongside this, they will work closely alongside multiple partners, including physiotherapists, class teachers, families and other professional partners.
