Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Pastoral Support Worker for schools across South Bristol. You will work 1:1 and in small groups to support pupils with SEMH, ASC, ADHD, and SLCN, helping them feel safe, engaged and ready to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group pastoral support.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Support emotional wellbeing, resilience and confidence.
• Help pupils manage behaviours and overcome barriers to learning.
• Encourage positive attendance, engagement and participation.
• Deliver mentoring and intervention sessions where appropriate.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and safeguarding teams.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence and self-esteem.
