Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust invites qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) or Child Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP) to join its school-based MHSTs in Surrey. The role focuses on delivering brief, evidence-based CBT with children and young people in schools and community settings.

You will work with CAMHS, GPs, and schools to deliver early intervention, whole-school approaches, and provide professional consultation.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include PGCerts in relevant fields and registration with BABCP or BPS.
• Experience with managing a caseload of children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
• Ability to collaborate with CAMHS, schools, GPs and social care to integrate support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based CBT interventions in schools and community settings.
• Co-produce whole school approaches with partner schools.
• Provide 1:1 and group interventions and professional guidance to school staff.
