Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Stafford is recruiting two Education Mental Health Practitioners to work across schools in the Stafford locality. You will deliver 1:1 and group interventions, support whole school approaches, and conduct risk assessments within CAMHS guidelines.

Candidates must hold the EMHP qualification (HEE 1-year course) and have experience with CYP mental health in educational settings.

Qualifications

• Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner with EMHP credential.
• Experience delivering interventions in educational settings.
• Experience working with children, families and educators.
• Knowledge of anxiety and mood disorders in CYP.

Responsibilities

• Assess and deliver outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions in educational settings for children and young people.
• Develop plans with families and educators for intervention outcomes.
• Empower CYP and families to choose appropriate interventions.
• Operate from an inclusive values base, respecting diversity.
• Accept referrals and adhere to local protocols.
• Record risk assessments and follow safeguarding procedures.
