Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a full‑time Children & Young People’s CBT Practitioner to join the Wellbeing in Newham Schools Team. You will provide CBT‑based assessments and interventions in schools within the MHST framework and be registered as an EMHP.

You will work closely with CAMHS and partner agencies to support children, young people and families. The post offers opportunities to influence service development in a diverse borough and to develop clinical and collaborative

Qualifications

• Registered EMHP (educational mental health professional).
• Experience delivering CBT-based interventions to children and young people.
• Ability to work with schools and multi-agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CBT-based interventions for mild-to-moderate mental health issues in schools.
• Build relationships with schools, families and external services.
• Support whole-school approaches and liaise with MHST partners.
